I do like this game but there's one major issue that keeps me from giving a 4 or 5 star rating - the auto-play and happiness mechanic. I have almost max skills, almost max happiness, and the best gear, yet I start out a game with a rank 80 (I'm rank 3) down 5-3. This happens fairly often to where the relationship mechanic isn't even really worth investing in. Autoplay is also broken. You need to fight for every point, but any ai player just needs you to mess up once and it takes the whole match.

This game is critiqued too harshly for what it is supposed to be: a competitive offline tennis player sim. the limited plays allows for more difficulty as you progress, instead of retro bowl where you take every snap and it reaches a ppint where you are too good at the game to lose. I love the gameplay mechanics and the energy system, the game doesnt penalize you too much for taking a short break, the happiness factor is honestly a nice touch, and is a cheatcode to better automated play. 4/5

I've been looking for a good tennis game that would potentially let me attempt to strategies and put patterns to use when I can't play on court. this Game has great foundations, but less than a month in I maxed out all my stats and there is no extra gameplay or variations. This would be a 5 star review if there was more content. overall, it's a pretty enjoyable game for a short period of time.
